Where ever we trek around the globe, we meet with traditional Roma people, who speak their Romani language as their mother tongue. After just a few words of speaking we started smiling, we were pleased to feel that we can understand each other, we speak the same language, and the fact that once our roots were the same. Lots of expressions, words and sentences sounded differently-not like in the Hungarian Roma dialect-but it does not matter! For us, as Roma, one of the majorest channels to convergence is language itself, the bridge, through which we can strengthen that we are 'one'.
