Krisztina Kakucsi is the fifth daughter of a Roma merchant family from the town of Dorog in Hungary. In her community she is said to be the best dancer, she is fairly elegant, figurative and rich in movings in her dance performances, and as for this, she is always in the centre in family events and weddings. In Romani traditions, giving forward the knowledge of dance in the family plays a significant role, that is why teaching the young children starts at a very early age. Krisztina's talent has been outstanding since her beginnings, and for today as a 17-year-old Romani girl, she is proudly representing the cultural values of her community.
