As a citadel of the contemporary fine arts, Budapest is one of the most varied capital city in Europe, where the most devoted ones to the arts could easily find programmes for enjoyable experiences. Once a year the Hungarian capital city’s hidden and exclusive exhibitions invite the public at large for one night. Among the many themes in this year for the first time there are Roma paintings and design, literature and film arts and fashion as a tool for representing and promoting Roma culture.
Among the participating galleries the newly established “egyHáz” is represented too: near the Basilica the Roma artistic and cultural centre is opened to visitors this evening for a special salon night collaborating with Kugler Art Salon and the Romani Design. Henrik Kállai’s, Erika Lakatos’ and János Bogdán Amigo’s constant pictures can be viewed, in addition to the pictures of Igazgyöngy Foundation and Kincsessziget Tanoda. Furthermore, the Caravan Arts Foundation will be our guest with an individual show. The Romani Design studio are waiting for the audience with traditional Roma Romani motifs clothing collection, custom design jewelry and craft gypsy dolls and Margitka’s traditional stew with rice.
